Reduced Packaging

UK newspaper the Indpendent is leading a brilliant initiative to put pressure on supermarkets to reduce packaging. They've aked readers to send in their favourite examples of overpackaging (one cited a shrink-wrapped Tasmanian swede when swedes were grown in the field down the road - just like my styrofoam trayed Mexican butternut squash) and have started collecting examples from abroad of packaging-reduction intitatives. Click here and then on the front page visual (like the one below) to read for yourselves.
Perhaps I should take this to Pecks and pin it to the pin board. What do you think?
